Highlights of the month: Reanda International opens new chapter with the addition of new member firm in the UK
Reanda International is delighted to announce the admission of a new member firm in the UK, effective 22 June 2016. The cooperation was sealed at the signing ceremony held at the ACCA headquarter at the Adelphi in London, UK.
Grunberg & Co was founded by the senior partner Mr. David Grunberg. The multi-disciplinary firm has enjoyed continued and robust growth in the local market since it was founded in 1990. Today, the firm is placed in the UK’s top 100 accountancy firms with seven partners and a further 50 professional and support staff, working out of an office in London. The firm has ambitious plans to further expand its portfolio of partners and team members under the Reanda brand.
Grunberg & Co, registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, offers broad service ranges with exceptional experiences in audit, tax, consulting and advisory services to all types of companies in the UK. The firm enjoys an excellent reputation in terms of their dedication and commitment to providing quality professional service.
Senior Partner David Grunberg is confident that joining the network will fuel the firm’s future development: “Grunberg & Co now has the ability to offer its own existing and potential clients direct personal contacts in other global territories, to help them expand their businesses.” He further added, “With today’s internationally focused companies relying on local accountants and advisors, this provides us with an opportunity to offer our expertise to businesses in China, the Far East and elsewhere who are seeking to expand within the UK. Likewise, membership of Reanda will allow us to assist our clients and other UK companies looking to expand internationally. The Reanda International Network thus became an attractive proposition.”
Mr. Alain Stechler, senior partner of Grunberg & Co added, “With the recent Government initiatives to encourage UK trade with China, we think this relationship is significant for a UK accountancy firm of our size, to expand our relationships and those of our clients with the Far East and to significantly extend the provision of international connections and services.”
Mr. Peter McMahon, tax partner of Grunberg & Co, commented: “I believe this presents a fantastic opportunity to have readily available tax expertise in overseas jurisdictions for cross border tax planning and double taxation matters. Such situations can be notoriously complex, and having already shared experiences with some of the expert overseas tax panel members, I am delighted that we now have access to such an internationally qualified tax network”.
Mr. Robert Bean, managing partner of Grunberg & Co, stated, “This is a great opportunity for Grunberg & Co to grow and add value to our clients, by not only using our local expertise but also now offering worldwide knowledge.”
Commenting on the new addition, Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of Reanda International said “I am delighted that Grunberg & Co Limited is joining Reanda International. Their extensive expertise and well established reputation will ensure a solid and vibrant presence for the network in this strategic market, especially at the time when Chinese and British enterprises have been engaging in increasing investment linked to the Belt and Road Initiative.”
Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International, said: “Undoubtedly Grunberg & Co will play a very important role for Reanda International to accelerate the network spreading and brand building in Europe. The One Belt One Road policy promulgated by the Chinese Government in 2015 has labeled the importance for Reanda International to connect the expertise between east and west. We are excited to be here to capture this big wave of business flows to be happened in the foreseeable future.”
